A wonderful wicked laugh

I don’t have so much a story just another confirmation of how lovely Stuart was..I was lucky to have worked with him for around 10 years, he was a reliable, patient and thoughtful colleague – always looking out for other members of the team, supporting people and very generous with his time.
He was an extremely calm and gentle man yet with a very funny dry sense of humour.  His wit lightened the mood in stressful situations and he had a wonderful wicked laugh, which makes me smile now to think of it.
We were often working early or late in the office, he was the best at faux-serious banter and I often teased him about never taking a proper holiday – he claimed he was only a fan of the “mini break”.
We had a ritual of taking turns to buy each other a fishfinger wrap from Leon on a Friday, as the canteen fishfingers were definitely inferior.
As well as being a colleague, Stuart was a friend and I was so pleased that he and Tom attended our wedding and could share that day.   I know he enjoyed the trip to the Isle of Wight (it was of course a mini break).
When he left the company we kept in touch, meeting up for dinner occasionally in between our offices.  With small children in my life now it made meeting up a lot harder and I am so very sad this is not a possibility any more, he will be missed. x
